Off road buggy specialist, Ryan Maifield has newly signed with YOKOMO as Factory driver.  The first thing he tried is updating YZ-2DT by adapting a laydown 3 gear box(ball diff) , now new standard for high grip dirt track.  Also redesigned the rear section for more rigid chassis balance and drove more rear traction for increasing corner speed.  J Concept S2 body and wing is also included as standard configuration.

?New designed Rear Shock Tower Brace could deliver the down force directly to Rear suspension mount.
?Height adjustable rear hub carriers with fine 0.5mm increments
?New high-grip specific steering hub carriers for align to more high grip surface
?The car kit includes a JConcepts S2 bodyshell and Aero rear wing
?Rod End has redesigned with new material for more smooth performance & durability

 

Front suspension arm is a straight type for ease on drive, and ball end has renewed for increasing the reliability, to prevent from brake on tie rod and upper arm while at the car crash. The driver feel more safe for challenging the corner section.

Steering Bell Clunk and Center Link are made by plastic resin to prevent from too much response and build for ease of drive character.  Very stable ride even at a tricky surface such as high grip but very bumpy track condition.

Front hub career has newly designed to increase the room for steering block mount. The axel position is adjustable in maximum 2.5mm for wide coverage on various type of dirt surface condition

Laydown 3 gear transmission has applied for overwhelming driving performance.  Increasing the forwarding power by higher response and less friction loss.
Also prepared a stand up 4 gear conversion for the low grip dirt surface use.

Rear shock tower brace has newly applied to increase the rear traction and more smooth cornering performance.  Down force power is going to transfered directly to the suspension mount rather thru gear box.

 

New desinged rear hub career is with bush incert at outer suspension pin to make height adjust with fine 0.5mm incremetns, max 3mm adjustable.
Role center position be adjustable now. Also prepared aluminum upper arm pivot as separate parts in order to make customer to select the upper arm length.

J Concept, S2 body and Aero wing is included for align the aero dynamic character to the Mailield car.
