The prominent figure of the R/C car boom was the Buggy Champ which was first released in 1979. 2009 saw Tamiya re-release the Buggy Champ to celebrate it's 30th year anniversary. In doing so, the chassis was finely tuned while maintaining the original features of the chassis such as the unique front double trailing arms and rear torsion bar suspension. Tamiya is now proud to release an eye-catching silver colored body variation of the Buggy Champ.
Specs and Features
1/10 R/C assembly kit. Length: 400mm, Width: 210mm, Height: 150mm, Wheelbase: 250mm.-Silver painted body included. Comes equipped with full ball bearings. 4-wheel independent suspension features front double trailing arm and rear swing axle, die-cast suspension arms, and oil dampers. Chassis features a 2mm thick FRP plate with an aluminum reinforcing plate. Clear transparent case helps protect the R/C mechanisms from dirt and debris. Choice of two gear ratios= 4.6:1 or 3.7:1. Semi-pneumatic tires feature a high-gripping block tread pattern.
