Description
Type EF 71 was an F-type alternating electric locomotive car that appeared in AC electrification of Ouwamoto line in 1968 and was active until 1991.
In addition to the sleeping limited express "Akebono" and the express "Tsugaru", we also towed the old trains and 50 series passenger trains and cargo trains.
In the slope continuous section of the Ouwamoto line, it was active as an auxiliary machine for the Kiha 181 series express "Tsubasa".
