Reiwa 4 (2022) A six-car train led by Kuro 381-141, which began operation in JNR colors in March, was commercialized as a special project product.
The renewed exterior (side sabot removal, side emergency exit embedding, LED side display, car number plate) and the JNR mark added in March 2023 (5th year of Reiwa) are accurately reproduced.
Saha 381-231 reproduces the exterior with more ventilators than other vehicles at the end of the car on the roof near Okayama, and the window arrangement with a small window in the former smoking room.
The front of the lead car uses a dummy coupler. The intermediate connection is equipped with a body-mounted dense-coupler without a hook.
Head/tail lights, nickname indication lit.
The use of a slotless motor realizes even smoother and quieter running.
Like the actual car, it is equipped with KATO's unique body pendulum mechanism that reproduces the inclination of the car body inward when passing through curves.
The nickname display uses a convertible train mark. Two types of "Yakumo (wide)" and "Yakumo (narrow)" are included according to each lead car.
Accessories: destination sticker, screwdriver for train marks.
DCC friendly.
