[Actual vehicle guide]
-The 485 series is a limited express train for both AC and DC that appeared in 1968 and represents the Japanese National Railways.
-In the 1990s, many joyful trains of the same series appeared in the form of remodeling and new car bodies based on the 485 series as enhancements and successor vehicles for the passenger car type joyful trains that had been active in the past.
-Resort Yamadori appeared as a new [fun train] to match the 2011 [Gunma Destination Campaign]
- As a vehicle, the 485 series Yamanami / Seseragi of the tatami room train that was active in the past has been remodeled again, and the exterior of the car body has become grape color No.
- Mainly active in the limited express [Resort Kusatsu] heading to tourist spots on the Agatsuma Line, the rapid [Resort Yamadori], and the rapid [Tanigawadake Mole] [Tanigawadake Loop] around the border section of the Joetsu Line
-While the other 485 series retired, he played an active role with the 485 series banquet and Hana, who became colleagues due to transfer in his later years, but the banquet retired on February 23, 2019, and Hana retired on October 31, 2022.
