[Product introduction]
- The definitive DC express train series 165 is one of the famous cars that expanded the express network of JNR.
- Equipped with increased traction motor output, slope suppression brakes, notch return control, and cold and snow resistant equipment for mountain lines, a total of 701 cars were manufactured in 7 years from 1963 (Showa 38).
-The last DC express train of JNR, there are also green cars and buffet cars, and it was widely used for express and local use in Tohoku (south of Kuroiso), Joetsu, Koshinetsu, Boso, Tokai, and Nanki areas.
