[Actual vehicle guide]
- The Nagoya Rinkai Railway is a coastal railway that opened in 1965 to respond to the increase in freight transport accompanying the expansion of the Nagoya Rinkai Industrial Area.
-In addition to the newly established Toko Line connecting Kasadera Station and Toko Station on the Tokaido Main Line and the Nanko Line connecting Toko Station and Nagoya Nanko Station, the freight line connecting to the Meitetsu Chikko Line, which existed before the war, was transferred to Nagoya Rinkai Railway, It became the Showacho Line, Shiomicho Line, and Higashi-Tsuki Line.
- Currently, the Toko Line and Nanko Line are mainly used for container transportation and limestone transportation, and the Tochiku Line is used irregularly when new cars are brought in.
- The Showacho Line and Shiomicho Line were mainly used for cargo transportation of chemical products and petroleum products, but are currently suspended due to the end of transportation.
