[Actual vehicle guide]
- Series 185 is a DC limited express train that started operation in 1981
- Since around 1995, renewal work has been carried out on the rolling stock of the Shin-Maebashi train depot,
- The car body has been changed to a cream-based paint with a block pattern of yellow, gray, and red with the Jomo Sanzan motif, and the [EXPRESS185] logo is attached to the side.
- Since around 2010, the skirt has been changed to a reinforced type
