● The N700S Shinkansen is the main vehicle on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines.
The N700S Shinkansen began operating between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka in July 2020, and is currently operating on all sections of the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines. It is called "Supreme," meaning the best Shinkansen in the N700 series, and incorporates a variety of the latest technologies. This is KATO's best selection, recommended for customers in a wide range of areas from the Tokyo metropolitan area to western Japan.
◆ Starting with this product release, a slotless motor will be adopted for the power unit. Additionally, the power pack included in the starter set will be changed to black. There are no other specification changes from the previous version.

By adopting a newly developed slotless motor, it demonstrates smoother and quieter running performance than existing motors.

Starter Set Features
