A new controller has arrived that allows you to operate your model trains using your smartphone. The main unit can be connected to your layout, just like a traditional power pack, and with the installation of a dedicated (free) app on your mobile device, you can remotely control your model trains.
Thanks to Bluetooth wireless connectivity, you can enjoy smooth operation even when using multiple smart controllers without any interference. The controller is also highly compatible with the 22-101 Soundbox, and by connecting it to the Soundbox, you can control all the Soundbox functions from your mobile device.
You no longer need to be physically present in front of the power pack, so you can relax on your sofa or get closer to the layout and enjoy operating your model trains from any comfortable angle. We are also actively developing devices that will further expand the controller's capabilities.
Please note that this product includes only the power pack unit. To use it, you will need to purchase a separately sold N/HO AC adapter.

- The first wireless controller from KATO, compatible with mobile devices for operation. A smartphone or tablet is required for operation.
- All operations, including train acceleration, deceleration, and direction changes, can be controlled via a smartphone or tablet.
- By connecting with the included communication cable, you can control all functions of the Soundbox through your smartphone or tablet.
- Bluetooth wireless connection ensures that multiple smart controllers can be used without interference.
- The output from the main unit is DC: 0–12V (with N AC adapter) / 0–16V (with HO AC adapter), 2.0A.
- Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control is used for vehicle running outputs, enabling slow-speed operation and more realistic train movements.
- Equipped with an electrical noise-canceling feature, making it suitable for operating European-style vehicles. *Note: A separate electrical noise-canceling device is required for operating European vehicles with the Soundbox.*
- The power switch allows you to manage the on/off status of all connected accessory devices at once.
- Power can be supplied to accessory devices via the snap-type terminals and accessory terminals on the side of the unit.
- Equipped with an overcurrent protection circuit to protect connected accessories in case of a short circuit. After eliminating the cause, the system can be restored by turning the power switch off and on.
- The control application can be downloaded for free from app stores, and updates will be available as new features are added.
