Description

--idola Mechanical Hand [Kakute] (5 sizes planned) is a 3D printer-made 3D modeling part following Boost Vernier.
――For humanoid robot characters, the size and shape of the fist has a great influence on the overall impression.
――It is one of the points that robot modelers are particular about, and there are various hand parts on the market that replace the parts of the kit.
――Some people said that it was designed for 18m to 20m class robots and was not suitable for small mechas, because it was too detailed and floated from the design of the main body.
――Therefore, we adopted a simple design to fit any robot character, and the lineup is 3 sizes for 1/144 [XS] [S] [M].
――The proportion of the whole body looks different depending on the size of the fist, and if the size does not match the overall balance or if the hole is left open, the reality will be impaired.
――You can expect a further improvement in perfection by using this part and adding a little effort. Please use it.

――Even extremely small molds that are difficult to process by hand are reproduced with the precise details unique to 3D printers.
――It is a size setting assuming use for 1/144 character models.
--A simple design has been adopted so that it will fit into many robot character kits.

――Since the fist is composed of 2 pairs on the left and right, the flat hand is composed of 1 pair on the left and right, and the back of the hand is composed of separate parts, it is possible to manufacture multiple kits with one set.
--XS is 1/144 15m class (kit top height 115mm ~, S is 18m class (125mm ~, M is 20m class (140mm ~)) The size is set assuming use for robots.
――The basic form is the same, but there are two types of designs to prevent mistakes during storage and production. XS and M are finished with a simple design, and S is finished with a complex design with many details.

――Parts can be processed in the same way as the plastic model.
--Cut the support (support) at the bottom of the fist with a sharp thin blade nipper, etc. and shape it flat with a file.
――Since the support is only near the wrist, there is no need to worry about losing details due to gate processing like parts of plastic models.

--The stacking marks and dot marks peculiar to stereolithography can be surface-treated by applying # 320 water-resistant paper. Processing with # 400 and # 600 will give a more beautiful finish.
--If the ball joint is tight, file it off, and if it is loose, apply superglue to adjust it.

――Painting can be done in the same way as the plastic kit.
--Before painting, lightly wash the parts with a neutral detergent and then blow the surfacer to improve the paint's bite.
――Since the instep is a separate part, it is easy to paint separately. If you paint the joints separately, the sense of precision will improve.
――Use metallic colors for a good accent.

――If you make your fist the right shape and size, your arms will look shorter, your legs will feel longer, and you will look smarter as if you were raised.
――Even if you are planning to assemble straight, just by modifying your fist, it will look cool and the overall image will look tight.
