--The Meitetsu 5700 series was introduced in 1986, and a 4-car train of 2-door conversion cross-seat cars was manufactured.
--Vehicle performance is based on the 7000 series, and combined operation is possible.
――It was mainly used as an excellent train for the Meitetsu main line and branch lines, but in later years it was also used for normal operation.
――Replacement with new vehicles began in 2009, and in 2019 all vehicles were scrapped, ending the long-standing history of SR vehicles.
