――The Odakyu 2200 series was the first general commercial vehicle of Odakyu to adopt the cardan drive system in 1954 and appeared in a two-car train.
――Early manufactured vehicles appeared as a non-penetrating type with two windows on the front, but the front was changed from the 2220 type with a 4-car fixed formation that was added in 1958 to a penetrating type front.
――The 2-car train, which was later added as the 2200 type, also has a through-type front.
――After that, the 2220 type was remodeled into the leading car of the intermediate car, and it became a 2-car train.
――Until 1969, the paint color was blue and the window area was yellow, and after 1969, it was ivory and blue, which became the standard color for Odakyu commuter cars.
