Description
The Cutty Sark was a tea clipper which was launched in 1869 at Dumbarton of England.
She was a typical high-speed ship with the total length as much as 6 times the total width and the
maximum speed as fast as 17 knots or above. She was a ship made of wood and iron, using iron for the
frame and lining the outer deck with teak, because wood was in short at the time she was built.
She is being kept in Greenwich as the only clipper ship today.
