--The Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line is a third rail subway line that connects Takabata Station to Fujigaoka Station with a partial ground section of approximately 20.6km.
――The subway, which first opened in Nagoya in 1957, is active as the main artery of city transportation.
――The 5000 type vehicle appeared in 1980 with the scrapping of 100 type and 200 type, and a total of 138 cars were manufactured.
――Commercial operation ended in 2015, but some of the trains were transferred to the Buenos Aires Subway in Argentina, South America, and are still active.
――Even now, seven years after retirement, the 5114 organization to be commercialized this time was detained at the Fujigaoka Factory, but unfortunately it has been decided to dismantle it during 2022.
