[Product introduction]
- The EF56 was born in 1937, and is a passenger DC electric locomotive that represents the prewar Japanese National Railways, along with the EF57.
- It is the first electric locomotive equipped with a steam generator (commonly known as SG) for heating passenger cars, eliminating the need to connect heating cars.
-Among the 12 EF56s that were manufactured, the primary type (1 to 7) featured a rounded welded body, and was seen in action on the Tohoku Main Line in later years.
-Together with the 10-898 postal/luggage train <Tohoku>, which will be reproduced at the same time, and a single luggage car, etc., to reproduce the luggage train seen on the Tohoku Main Line and to reproduce the regular train with old passenger cars. Optimal.

[Product Features]
-From the late 40's to the early 50's, the prototype is the late form of Unit 6, which belonged to the Utsunomiya engine district and was active mainly on the Tohoku Main Line.
- Reproduce the car body with a rounded welded structure
- Accurately reproduces the blow-up chimney, which is a feature of the EF56 equipped with SG. Metal parts are used for the high pressure lead-in wire on the roof and the SG safety valve.
