Hasegawa PT42
AH-64D Apache Longbow JGSDF US Attack Helicopter 1/48

The AH-64D Apache Longbow is an advanced version of the AH-64A Apache all-weather attack helicopter developed and adopted in line with the US Army's Advanced Attack Helicopter (AAH) plan. At the end of 1993, the AH-64C designation was abolished, and it was called the AH-64D Apache Longbow regardless of whether it was equipped with radar or not.

The greatest feature of the on-board sensors is the fire control radar (FCR), also known as the longbow radar attached to the top of the main rotor mast. It is a new-generation attack helicopter that has excellent controllability during combat due to its system management.

The Ground Self-Defense Force has decided to introduce the AH-64D Apache Longbow as a successor to the AH-1S.
On December 15, 2004, the first flight for the Ground Self-Defense Force, which made its first flight in Mesa, Arizona, USA, was carried in to Fuji Heavy Industries in Utsunomiya on December 18, 2005 after conducting various tests for one year. Assembly was done.
At this time, the equipment of the Ground Self Defense Force specification is also done.

The Ground Self Defense Force's AH-64D Units 1 and 2 were manufactured by Boeing in the United States, but Fuji Heavy Industries plans to license about half of the subsequent aircraft.
March 16, 2006 Unit 1 made a ferry to the Ground Self-Defense Force Akeno Garrison.
Various tests and inspections will be carried out in Akeno in the future, and we will proceed to actual deployment.
