The Kiha 187-500 series is a JR West Japan express diesel car that appeared in 2003.
This is a "Super Inaba" in a form that replaces the Kiha 181 series Inaba, who was running between Okayama and Torri.
The "Super Inaba" may be driving within the Chigatsu Express Line, and the window placement is different from the traditional KiHa 187 series due to security equipment.
In addition, the wiper cover has been added to the top of the front through door windows.

The front side of the kiha 187-500 (T) is equipped with an Arnold coupler.
Flywheel powered power, new power collecting system, silver wheels.
Uses M-13 motor.
