Only one side of all vehicles is equipped with BMTN tightly coupled SP and a toilet tank. The door side has been replaced with TN tight connectors on the cart coupler pockets.

The combined section of the Akatsuki and Suisei formations is equipped with a Kato Knuckle coupler body mount type.

Only the end of Oha 14 303 uses BMTN secret coupling springs, while the Suhanef 15 and 15 ends of the Suisei formation have BMTN secret coupling SP installed.
