[Actual vehicle guide]
--Series 113 appeared in 1963 as a suburban train in the DC section.
――The body is the same as the 401 series that appeared in 1960, and it has become the standard appearance of the Japanese National Railways suburban train, such as the front shape of the penetrating high cab on the side where the sash window is arranged on the 3 doors.
――The interior of the car is based on the 70 series semi-cross seat arrangement, with long seats near the door pocket windows on both sides of the door and box seats on the sash window, making it a medium-distance guest room facility.
――The initial non-cooling non-unit sash car will also be remodeled to become a cooling car, but there were many cases in the Kansai area where electric rolling signs were not prepared or installed at the same time.
