[Product introduction]
- The 381 series, which started operation as the world's first pendulum type limited express train in 1973 (Showa 48) on the limited express [Shinano].
- In October 1978, the limited express [Kuroshio] was electrified at the time of electrification between Wakayama and Shingu on the Kisei Main Line, and the 100 series with a non-penetrating front car appeared.
- The 381 series was active in the Kishu region for a long time, but since 1982 it has expanded its field of activity to the [Yakumo] on the Hakubi Line and Sanyo Main Line, and at the end of the period, it was also in the Kita Kinki area. It was transferred to [Kounotori] [Kinosaki] and was also operated.

-From this product, a slotless motor is adopted for the power unit, allowing you to enjoy smoother and quieter driving performance.
-In addition, the pantograph frame will be covered with a snowproof cover, the basic set will be changed to a 9-car book case, and the add-on set will be changed to a paper box.
