Description
This is a 3D printed bumper that fits the BD12/11 series of competition touring cars. The 3D designed honeycomb structure makes it lightweight and keeps the weight to a minimum. It is made of flexible material and has a moderate strength, making it easy to prevent body deformation due to air resistance.
It also has great functional advantages compared to standard urethane bumpers; by drawing the air that flows under the chassis while driving into the body from the bottom of the bumper, it is possible to suppress the lifting of the chassis and improve the feeling of ground contact. The steering trace in high-speed corners is better, and the sense of stability tends to increase.
