――The CR70 and CR75 are light diesel cars that were used by the Hokkaido Chihoku Kogen Railway, which became the only third sector of the Japanese National Railways conversion in Hokkaido.
――The same shape was designed based on the Kiha 130 type of JR Hokkaido, such as a compact body with a total length of 15.8 m and a small and high output DMF13HS type diesel engine.
――The CR70 type was introduced in 1989, and the CR75 type was an event-ready vehicle equipped with audio equipment and was introduced in 1990.
--In 2006, the line was abolished and all cars were retired, but some cars have been dynamically preserved on the Furusato Galaxy Line Rikubetsu Railway, which was converted from the former Rikubetsu car station and a part of the discontinued line section.
