[Real car guide]
-The 0th generation of the 700 series is a vehicle for the Tokaido / Sanyo Shinkansen belonging to JR Tokai. It started commercial operation in 1999 as a replacement for the 0/100 series that was active on the Tokaido / Sanyo Shinkansen. All vehicles are scheduled to retire from the Tokaido / Sanyo Shinkansen in FY2019.
