The Kintetsu 10100 series <New Vista Car> is a limited express train that appeared in Showa 34 (1959), and is a famous car that has immovable the status of the Kintetsu Meihan Limited Express, which continues to this day. It was a three-body formation with an articulated structure that included a double-decker intermediate car, which was revolutionary at the time, and there were A, B, and C formations due to the difference in the shape of the head. From Showa 42 (1967) to 50 (1975), a snack corner was installed, the window arrangement was changed due to the relocation of the toilet due to the installation of waste disposal equipment in the toilet and washroom, and the installation of a wireless antenna and an exhaust device. Prior to the retirement in Showa 54 (1979), a commemorative operation was held by a triple train of A + C + B formation, which could not be seen until then, and from July ~ August of Showa 54 (1979), a triple drive with a "goodbye driving" head mark was held and decorated the flower path.

・The use of a slotless motor realizes smooth and quiet running performance. In consideration of combined operation, the A and C trains are equipped with traction tires, and the B trains are not powered ・ Both the front part of the penetrating lead car is equipped with a body-mounted KATO coupler densely coupled (without hooks)

・ The 6-car set and 9-car set have the limited express mark installed on the non-penetrating lead car, and the limited express mark for the penetrating lead car and the front hood for attaching the limited express mark are included. The three-car set includes a replacement front hood that can reproduce the form in which the limited express mark is not displayed
on both of the lead cars with the limited express mark already attached, and the attached destination display board contains the contents of the Oto Limited Express (main station stop type), which was the center of the last operation. Contents: "Osaka Kamihonmachi", "Kenjima", "Kyoto", "Nara", "Kashihara Jingumae", "Nagoya (light blue)", "Toba (light blue)" ・ Comes with a head mark and a forwarding tag attached at the time of goodbye operation ・ A formation + B formation 6-car set can store C train 3-car set in a cosmetic box
