[Actual vehicle guide]
-Meitetsu Series 8800 Panorama DX is a limited express vehicle that appeared in 1984.
- The main equipment of the same series was diverted from the discontinued 7000 series, and only the body was newly built.
- Unlike the conventional 7000 series panorama car, it has become a luxurious interior facility such as a high-decker structure for the observation seats.
- In addition to the high-decker observatory seats, the leading car has separate seats for 2, 4, and 6 people, and the floor inside the car is carpeted.
- It was a 2-car train at the time of its introduction, but in 1989, an intermediate car was added and it became a 3-car train.
- When the middle car was first introduced, it consisted of 4-seater seats, but 3 out of 4 trains were remodeled with rotating reclining seats.
- Although it was active mainly in express operation, all cars were retired by 2004
