[Actual vehicle guide]
-The 201 series is a commuter train that appeared in 1979 and features armature chopper control and a black steel panel around the front, which was the first Japanese National Railways to adopt it.
- To the Kansai area, it was introduced into the Takatsuki Train District and Akashi Train District from 1983 and operated on the Keihanshin Local Line etc.
-From 2003 to 2008, renewal work called [Constitutional improvement 30N] was carried out with the aim of extending the life of the vehicle, and both the exterior and interior changed greatly.
- When the 321 series appeared in 2005, half of the trains were transferred to the Morinomiya Train Depot and the Nara Train Depot.
-The train cars in the Nara Train Depot were painted with a warbler color and a white belt warning color, and were active on some parts of the Yamatoji Line, Osaka Higashi Line, and Wakayama Line.
- Since around 2009, the cooler has been replaced (AU75 → WAU709)
