[Actual vehicle guide]
――The DE10 type appeared in 1966 as a general-purpose diesel locomotive used for branch lines and freight car shunting.
――The feature of the cars used in Kyushu during the JNR era was that the white belt between the headlights was omitted, and the cars that later moved to Honshu also inherited this painting.
--Some of the vehicles owned by JR Freight were renewed in the 2000s, and were changed to red-based paint, and are still active today.
