──Commercialize the E2 series Shinkansen reprinted in the nostalgic 200 series paint

[Actual vehicle guide]
- The E2 series is a Shinkansen vehicle that appeared in 1995.
-The same series was developed for the Hokuriku Shinkansen (Nagano Shinkansen at that time), which opened in 1997, for [Asama] and for replacing the 200 series.
-The J formation prepared to connect with the Akita Shinkansen [Komachi] was introduced to replace the 200 series, and was mainly operated on the Tohoku Shinkansen [Yamabiko].
-In 2001, an improved 1000 series appeared for the Tohoku Shinkansen Hachinohe extension.
- Unlike the vehicles that appeared earlier, the 1000 series has the window dimensions of the normal car expanded horizontally by two rows of seats, and the body appearance has changed significantly.
-Also, in the same number, the pantograph has changed from a diamond shape to a single arm type, and the pantograph cover has been abolished.
- Vehicles that were added in 2010 have a large destination display on the side and a full-color LED display.
- In 2022, the 1000th generation J66 formation will be changed to the 200 series color and will be operated on the Tohoku / Joetsu Shinkansen.
